What a day! A preliminary tally indicates that the Oregon Mennonite Festival for World Relief raised more than $104,000, which is about $12,000 more than the day-of-festival total last year. It will be added to a $10,000 anonymous donation that matches certain bids in the quilt auction.
Board chair Ron Litwiller said, "There are a few expenses yet to be paid, but if memory serves me correctly, this will be one of our highest revenue sales. We are very thankful for the generosity of so many, and grateful for our opportunity to help meet needs around the world." (click on image at right to see actual sale totals.)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for contributing in so many ways!
