Changes are on the horizon for the festival’s food offerings in 2015. New state regulations now require that all meals served on site must be prepared at the fairgrounds.
Baked goods, the children’s sack lunches, and other foods served without heating are fine. Sausages, pancakes, and apple dumplings prepared on site are fine. But taco salad and spring rolls will not be available this year.
We’re exploring new options, and though we will miss some of our old favorites, it’s an exciting opportunity to offer some new tastes.
